This position offers excellent potential for career advancement and growth as this individual would be working with senior leaders to advance STV's local roadway/civil practice. The ideal candidate is an individual who desires to lead a team, displays confidence, and possesses a vast understanding of project management and roadway design principles.Responsibilities: - Lead and manage roadway projects from planning through design and into construction.
- Lead project team meetings and report up to STV executive management regarding status.
- Provide guidance and oversight to technical engineering staff ranging from junior to senior level.
- Work closely with other project managers and group leads to plan resources and manage internal workshare.
- Assist in developing client capture plans and pursuit win plans, proposals, and other business development and client engagement activities.
- Participate in interviews and presentations to the client for pursuits and projects.
- Develop and enhance client relationships and deliver quality projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Manage all project aspects; scope development, qualifications and proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, design scope, budget, scheduling, staff management and coordinating work efforts, cost estimating, bidding support, construction administration, cost control, project communications and documentation, and cash management.
- Administer relevant aspects of a formal quality program.Basic Qualifications:
