In this Manufacturing Engineer role you will be play a vital role in developing and evaluating new processes and enhancing current manufacturing process capabilities and overall productivity. You will achieve this through the use of problem-solving and analytical skills combined with Lean Manufacturing techniques. My client is a leading aerospace manufacturing company dedicated to excellence in aerospace engineering and manufacturing. They specialize in the design, development, and production of advanced aerospace components and systems for commercial and military applications.
The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the VP of Engineering and be responsible for:
Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and production equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of aerospace components.
Use Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to analyze problems, provide technical solutions and reduce waste.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase productivity.
Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure on-time delivery of products.
Support new product introductions and engineering changes, including process validation and qualification activities.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean and six sigma tools (greenbelt preferred)
