Overview Join our growing team! In the newly created Network Manager position, you will be responsible for the daily performance and service levels of Jordan's networks, distribution facilities, and data center; plans network expansions, upgrades, designs for new locations, and oversees implementations. - This position supervises the network engineers and administrators, ensures the highest degree of security and network integrity. Responsibilities What we trust you to do: - Collaborate with leadership using an established framework to plan network initiatives at a quarterly and yearly view, adjusting schedule as necessary.
- Ensure planned network initiatives and tasks are delivered according to schedule and assigned to the appropriate network team member.
- Lead all procurement activities related to network assets such as maintenance contract renewals and new hardware and/or software acquisitions.
- Ensure adherence to established change management procedures, recommend and implement improvements to those procedures.
- Monitor network performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, outages, and inefficiencies.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide expert-level support in resolving complex network issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related challenges.
- Oversees system upgrades and patch management to ensure proper network stability and security levels.
- Plan and implement network optimization measures to enhance reliability and speed.
- Define and communicate clear objectives, expectations, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Interviews, hires, trains, supervises, coaches, and evaluates subordinates.
- Provides support and assistance for ongoing department projects and initiatives as necessary.
- Documents network policies and procedures.
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
