We are searching for a Marketing Strategist to develop, implement, and effectively deliver mass/targeted communications to internal/external audiences consistent with Southcoast's brand voice, strategy and vision. Responsible for development of integrated communications strategies and content across all channels. Create clever and compelling strategic communications and marketing content in support of business and service line objectives to be shared through a variety of channels including but not limited to digital, TV and radio scripts, speeches, advertisements, email and collateral materials. Manage Marketing & Communication team projects to ensure strategic integration of message. Ensure Marketing & Communication strategic content projects meet identified deliverables including campaign timelines. Oversee measurement/presentation of the results of the content marketing efforts. Ability to assess and breakdown complex topics and apply superior content development and writing skills are required as well as strong project management and verbal communication skills. Must be well-organized, proactive/self-motivated and positive with a keen attention to detail and an eye for perfection. Required to work well with tight timelines and manage projects independently. - Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day shift; 8:30am-5:00pm - Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA
Education and/or Experience Requirements: - Minimum 3 - 5 years' work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is preferred, or combination of related education combined with significant directly-related experience.
- Must demonstrate high character, strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in the use of various software applications is required.
- Must be skilled at creating collaborative relationships, comfortable with higher management, conflict management and be patient and consumer focused.
