WHAT WE OFFER The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the reliability of mechanical rotating and process equipment. This role performs preventative and predictive maintenance, mechanical and process system troubleshooting as well as problem solving measures and other routine maintenance functions. Major Responsibilities: - Install and rearrange complex equipment
- Apply electrical training to be able to reset drives, test electrical circuits and perform simple wiring of circuits after training is complete
- Diagnose complex equipment failure
- Dismantle, repair and reassemble complex equipment
- Perform work in the mechanic's skill area, such as fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting and pipefitting
- Occasionally perform work in other trades
- Use typical mechanic's tools and inspection gauges
- Work from drawings, verbal instructions or sketches; Use shop math
- Clean debris and lubricant from parts, work area and equipment
- Operate production equipment to check work as required
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities
- Communicate openly with teams, shifts, and other departments to support repairs/projects
- Willingness and ability to learn and apply new computer software, specifically SAP MtS module. Create Work Orders and apply time to projects;
- High level of organization skills. Assist with organization of spare parts and tooling.
- Clean production dies and tooling;
- Required to work overtime on weekends, shutdowns and other shifts to cover vacation of other team members
- Work to maintain technical documentation in an organized manner WHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications: - High school diploma/GED/Trade School degree with mechanic or maintenance concentration
- 3 years of experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment Knowledge and Skills:
