Demonstrate technical engineering knowledge of a segment of products and stay current on new trends and technologies. Apply knowledge concerning statistical analysis, Design of Experiment and Statistical Process Control.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Execute and manage multiple assigned projects focused on new products, process, ingredient and continuous improvement. Work cross-functionally to drive the Customer to Concept process and bring new products to market. Maintain material handling, batching, and process. Assist authoring Draft Standard Operating Procedures with Process Instructions/Specifications and Semi Finished Goods Specifications. Travel required as needed for business; communicate with supervisor when not manageable. Education & Experience 0-3 years of food industry experience; entry level BS/MS Masters/Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in relevant scientific field of study Skills & Competencies Technical knowledge of engineering and/or data analysis. Basic understanding of technical process parameters associated with products, sensory attributes, and the relationship with Customer and Consumer needs. Knowledge associated with statistical analysis, Design of Experiment and Statistical Process Control Skills to handle risk and uncertainty. Strong self-accountability to meet deadlines and drive results; is accountable for own work; meets timelines and expectations; Is accountable to deadlines while flexible to changing business needs.
