The Technology Leader position drives technology strategy and execution for the Global and Americas commercial organizations in Abiomed. This role requires a leader who can combine Information Technology (IT) expertise with knowledge of the healthcare environment to lead groundbreaking change and accelerate business value. The role requires active engagement and partnership with Abiomed's senior leaders to craft new business model offerings while driving IT enablement of the business. The incumbent must build strong collaborative partnerships with business leaders across the business unit and J&J Technology. A successful candidate will be able to think strategically as they explore various business problems, define the value propositions, and experiment with users to build the right products that deliver prioritized measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities : Business & Technology Strategy --- Support vision, align/prioritize business & IT strategies and co-shape strategic demand with the business. --- Shape and define annual objectives, roadmaps and outcomes informed by business and technology for selected areas / functions. --- Translate business vision/strategies and customer needs to products, empowering products and squads to innovate and create solutions to meet business / customer / user needs. --- Unite varied products into cohesive end-to-end digital business strategies and solutions for function/franchise/region. - Co-drive continuous improvement and seek opportunities for business process improvement through technology, data and automation. Be a change agent that drives digital transformation.
