CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Development Lead to join our Commercial & Institutional - PMCM Team at our office in Boston, MA. YOUR IMPACT CHA's Commercial & Industrial Sector provides a multitude of services to help our clients, envision, develop, build, and operate their capital assets. We understand that success relies on effective communication, transparency, and a seamless alignment of goals. - We pay attention to the small details, and we ask all the necessary questions. Owners count on CHA to actively lead a project and support the owner from preliminary planning and design through successful construction and project close-out. The Business Development Lead plays a critical role in business development, client development, and pursuit management. This role works with our internal marketing team and C&I business lines to develop and execute our strategies which include client satisfaction, client development, and cross-selling/marketing among the sector. Duties include: - Support, Develop, implement, and deliver a sales strategy for C&I that aligns with the overall business strategy and core values to advance market share/penetration, and achieve profitable growth
- Develop plans that articulate the strategies/requirements essential for focusing market development activities, accurate forecasts and communicate progress
- Conduct market research to keep up economic, competition, and other relevant issues to assist with evaluating business development and communication activities and to monitor emerging issues
- Prospect for new clients by utilizing his/her professional network and leverage the firm's existing client base to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Work with and lead internal teams to ensure timely, accurate and impactful proposals, presentations, qualifications, and winning strategies are maintained and expanded
- Become technically proficient in the sector service offerings for the specific market sector to enable and promote cross-selling within CHA's three sectors
- Become technically proficient in renu360 in order to sell and market deferred maintenance consulting
- Participate in networking groups, attend various associations, and maintain a client database to generate leads and relationships with clients
- Maintain a client database (CRM), generate leads, and follow-up with clients
- Develop content to support of social media, marketing campaigns, website, and industry conferences
- Coach staff on successful client interaction and business development strategies
- Manage annual sales budget and sales pipeline
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Work on cultivating and training the next generation of seller-doers
- Other duties as assigned
