Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join a growing practice in Frederick, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality foot and ankle care, with a strong focus on patient-centered treatment and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including injuries, deformities, infections, and chronic disorders
- Perform both conservative and surgical treatments as appropriate
- Manage conditions such as diabetic foot care, ulcers, and wound care
- Conduct routine foot care and preventative services
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in EMR systems
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted Maryland podiatry license (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification or board eligibility preferred
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in wound care and diabetic foot management
- Surgical experience is a plus
- Familiarity with EMR systems
