Job Description Job Description Job Title: Construction Project Engineer - Heavy Highway This is a full-time permanent direct placement opportunity. Company Overview: Our client is a leading company specializing in heavy highway and paving construction. Their team is committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. They value innovation and collaboration and are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join their growing team. - The estimated pay range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to develop and execute project plans and schedules. - Ensure compliance with state and municipal regulations by supervising projects with qualified Sediment Control and Traffic Control Certifications. - Monitor all project work, including subcontractors, to ensure adherence to safety standards in conjunction with the Safety Manager. - Interpret and disseminate drawings, specifications, and technical information to the Project Team, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants. - Maintain compliance with engineering standards, codes, and design details throughout project execution. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction management role, with a preference for heavy civil project experience. - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is highly desirable; relevant work experience may be considered as a substitute. - Proficient in various construction and office software applications. - Familiarity with construction industry practices and regulations. - Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, and lifting (25 pounds frequently, 15 pounds occasionally).
