We are seeking a dedicated Class B HAZMAT Truck Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is vital to our mission as it involves the safe and compliant transportation and handling of hazardous materials, contributing directly to our efforts in hazardous waste disposal and emergency spill response. The role requires a responsible individual committed to safety protocols and environmental preservation. Safely operate Class B HAZMAT vehicles following all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies. Load, unload, and identify materials, waste, and substances, and ensure proper documentation is completed. Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues. Participate in emergency response drills and actual spill response operations if needed. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles and equipment. Ensure compliance with hazardous materials transportation and disposal regulations. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to assure the highest quality of service. Proven ability to operate Class B vehicles and handling hazardous materials. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response techniques. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good physical fitness, able to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
