Performance Foodservice is seeking a dedicated Entry Level CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. As a part of our team, you will play a significant role in ensuring timely, safe, and accurate delivery of food products while upholding the standards of excellence that have made Performance Foodservice a leader in the food distribution industry. Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck in accordance with company and federal safety regulations. Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries while maintaining cold chain compliance and proper documentation. Perform pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues or concerns. Assist in loading and unloading products from the truck manually or with a hand truck. Verify delivery information and interact professionally with customers to resolve any on-site issues. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer or straight trucks safely and efficiently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to carry out manual loading and unloading of goods.
