Cath Lab Tech Location: Olney, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,998 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: IR/Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8-10 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Required Certifications: ARRT-R, ACLS, BLS, Fluoro Permit Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. IR experience is required. Travel experience is required. Every other holiday is required. Scrubbing for IR, vascular, and pain procedures is mandatory. Proficiency in operating specific C-arm equipment is required. Description: The position requires skills in interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. The tech will perform tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, and drain placements, among other procedures. Pain management procedures such as epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations will be expected. Vascular procedures including angiograms and thrombectomies will also be performed. Candidates will work a schedule of 4 days of 8-hour shifts and 1 day of a 10-hour shift. There is no requirement for on-call or weekends. The unit handles various cases within the specialty but does not require floating to other areas. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing and maintaining sterile fields during procedures. Candidates must have experience with specific interventional techniques and equipment setups. This position involves accurate monitoring and preparation of access sites, along with the recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. All candidates must meet the necessary compliance and clinical requirements. Two supervisor references are required for the application process.
