As a Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in our interdisciplinary team, providing comprehensive psychiatric services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, through our accessible platform. Your expertise in psychiatric care will directly contribute to making mental health services more attainable for our patients via insurance-based solutions. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a healthcare team. Prescribe medication and monitor its effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families to enhance understanding of psychiatric conditions and treatment. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care in accordance with legal and professional standards. Stay current with advancements in the field to best serve the patient population. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide insights from a psychiatric perspective. Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in psychiatric medication management. Ability to develop and follow through with effective treatment plans. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex issues to patients and families.
