Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in a cardiac medical/surgical setting. Monitor patient health and administer medications according to physician orders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and health maintenance and recovery. Supervise and guide nursing assistants and junior nurses.
