Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years CVOR RN experience required. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) expertise to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic surgical setting. This role is key to ensuring patient safety and quality care throughout surgical procedures, offering a chance to lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team in a well-equipped healthcare environment. Responsibilities include: Assessing surgical patients needs and developing individualized care plans tailored for each procedure, with ongoing evaluation and adjustments to prioritize patient safety. Leading room activities by supervising the surgical environment, anticipating schedule changes, assembling surgical equipment and supplies, assisting anesthesia, and maintaining sterile fields. Facilitating clear communication between patients, families, physicians, OR team members, supervisors, managers, and supporting departments to foster seamless care coordination. Engaging in professional growth through participation in educational meetings, in-services, staff development seminars, and preceptorship opportunities. Desired Experience: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with specialized CVOR skills. Proven experience in perioperative nursing, especially cardiovascular procedures. Strong leadership capabilities and ability to coordinate complex tasks efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
