This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality care and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients through various surgical procedures. The candidate will work as part of a skilled team, managing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, ensuring that MedStar Health’s reputation for top-tier healthcare services is maintained. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions in a timely and efficient manner. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or treatments. Operate medical equipment and monitor patient vital signs during surgery. Participate in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure the effective operation of the unit. Educate patients and their families on postoperative care procedures.
