We are currently seeking a qualified Nightshift Assistant Director of Nursing for our Labor and Delivery department. This role is pivotal in managing our overnight nursing staff and ensuring the safest and most efficient care environments for our labor and delivery patients. The successful candidate will oversee clinical operations during night shifts, collaborate with the Director of Nursing to enhance service delivery, and support nursing staff in providing excellent patient care. Supervise and evaluate staff performance during night shifts ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines. Develop staffing schedules and rotations to maximize efficiency and care standards. Intervene in critical patient care situations and provide advanced support where necessary. Train and mentor nursing staff on new standards and technologies in labor and delivery care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
