The Junior Pastry Cook's role is to assist the Pastry Chefs in their daily operations. As a Junior Pastry Cook you will: - Use kitchen equipment such as mixer, blenders, ovens and cookers.
- Follow clear written procedures when handling recipes.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Implement and enforce proper hygiene practices, including ingredient handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
- Assist the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef in the implementation of new recipes.Hours
- Open flexibility to work Monday-Sunday between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 5 days a week
- 8 hour shift
- Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Working Environment
- Working in a food production and distribution bakery with high food safety and sanitation standards
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures and noise from equipment
