Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate the PCC system to meet Intervention requirements for on time shift startup and maintain continuous production in the facility.Perform titrations of intervention levels accurately and in a timely manner, clearly document results, make necessary adjustments to maintain in control.Clearly complete all documentation associated with PAA levels, pH, make up water gpb and water levels, etc. All required paperwork completed and turned into the QA/HACCP office at the end of each shiftReport system issues to facility leadership including maintenance and production.Perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance of systems.Utilize all Chemical Safety Processes and PPE as required by company policyCommunicate with chemical vendors and technical support as needed.Other duties as assigned.Minimum EducationHigh School or equivalentpreferred.Experience RequirementsStrong reading, communication math, writing and analytical skills are required. Experience with chemical handling and dosing pump applications. Knowledge of blueprint and electrical schematics. Experience PreferredEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsTemperature exposure ranges from less than 32F to over 85F.Dampness exposure is ambient. Walking/standing surfaces are wet, dry, greasy and on metal grating. Chemical exposure includes chlorinated water, ammonia vapors at more than 5ppm, carbon fuel fumes, lubricating oils and hydraulic oils and paa.Noise exposure is 90-94.9dB with light intensity exposure. Tools used are screw drivers, plyers, knives. Personal protection equipment/devices are hearing protection, vision protection (glasses/goggles), rubber gloves, cotton gloves, hard hat, apron, lab coat and hair net. Maximum distance walked is more than 100 feet. Walking surface is dry, wet, greasy, rough and or uneven. Occasional standing is with variable mobility. Longest interval of time spent sitting is less than 1 hour with variable up/down position. Maximum weight lifted is 20-40 pounds. Starting position height of lift is floor level and final position height of lift is 4-5 feet.Extension reach during lift is more than 24 inches. Body position during lifting is bending over. Longest interval of time spent reaching is less than 1 hours. Objects grasped are poultry parts, hand tool, equipment handles and containers.Objects are grasped with both hands.
