<span>&nbsp;<br><B>Position: </B>Sr. Java Web Application Developer with Struts &nbsp;and Hibernate Job<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Location:</B> Woodlawn, MD (Baltimore, MD<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Duration: </B>3 year contract renewable each year<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Position Description: </B><br>Senior Java Developer will demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting complex enterprise level applications and other system software using a strong working knowledge of JAVA J2EE and Section 508 testing and coding standards. &nbsp;Development of applications, relational database concepts, and superior oral and written communications skills to effectively convey progress, issues, reports, and other customer deliverables with clarity and value is also required.<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Flexible work schedule</B><br>&nbsp;<br><B>Job Activities:</B><br>Contributes to the analysis and determination of advanced technological ideas and the development into a final product. <br>Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts.<br>Contributes to the development of new principles and theories.<br>Supports management and customers answering questions on advanced technical research studies and applications.<br>Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative. <br>&nbsp;<br><B>Required:</B><br><ul>

<li>Experience with J2EE technologies such as Core Java.</li><li>Familiar with Web Service technologies such as SOAP or RESTful.</li><li>Web development using Struts or JSP or CSS or JavaScript.</li><li>Experience with EJB or JDBC Spring or Hibernate or JPA </li><li>Strong XML processing experience.</li><li>IDE such as RAD or Eclipse</li><li>Experience with application servers such as WebSphere or Weblogic or Tomat or <B>JBoss.</B></li></ul>

<B>Desired:</B><br><ul>

<li>Experiencing developing JAVA applications interfacing with DB2 using SQL. </li><li>Strong background in coding and testing Section 508 standards.</li><li>Prior experience working with Social Security Administration (SSA) web applications.</li><li>Well versed in SDLC, as well as RUP, Agile, Waterfall methologies.</li><li>Experience with version control software such as MKS Integrity, CVS, Subversion</li><li>and VSS.</li><li>Experience with user administration frameworks such as WebSphere Admin scripting using JYTHON, ANT, etc.</li><li>Experience working with IBM Rapid Application Developer and Web Sphere Application server </li><li>Knowledge of JPA</li></ul>

&nbsp;<br><B>Education:</B><br>Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with <B>11 years of professional experience</B>; or 9 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. <br>&nbsp;<br><B>Background Check:</B> Must be able to pass a drug criminal and credit background check<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Skills</B>:<br><ul>
