They will have prime accountability for major projects and will develop detailed and robust design, code, test, and implement proposed systems. They will use the ability to develop technical solutions, document the solution architecture, &amp; design document using UML. They will have hands-on experience with projects supporting Service Oriented Architecture principles. They will work independently and provide technical directions to team members. They will use superior oral and written communications skills to effectively convey progress, issues, reports, and other customer deliverables with clarity and value.<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Flexible work schedule</B><br>&nbsp;<br><B>Job Activities:</B><br>Contributes to the analysis and determination of advanced technological ideas and the development into a final product. <br>Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts.<br>Contributes to the development of new principles and theories.<br>Supports management and customers answering questions on advanced technical research studies and applications.<br>Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative. <br>&nbsp;<br><B>Required:</B><br>Experience with Hadoop/HDFS/MapReduce<br>Experience with J2EE Framework/ORM such as Struts and Hibernate.<br>Skills Requirements:<br>Database experience with Oracle and DB2 <br>XML processing experience such as XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT, etc.<br>Experience with JavaScript, HTML, SSL.<br>Experience with complex programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis and resolution issues within OO application systems.<br>Strong communication and documentation skills.<br>Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents.<br>Self-starter, highly motivated individual, and a team player who adapts to a dynamic work environment.<br>Ability to investigate/research issues, determine impact, and provide solutions.<br>Experience with version control software such as MKS and CSS.<br>Familiar with Web Service technologies such as Apache Axis, SOAP and WSDL. <br>Familiar with Rational Unified Process, CMM/CMMI. <br>Familiar with MS Project and Visio. <br>Familiarity with IT Governance frameworks.<br>Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively; strong and proven problem solving. <br>Self-managed with the ability to mentor others.<br>Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively. <br>Familiarity with project management frameworks.<br>Experience in UML diagramming and design documentation.<br>Solid OOD/OOP foundation<br>Experience with Hbase/NoSQL or similar technology.<br>Experience with Pig and/or Hive.<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br><B>&nbsp;</B><br><B>Education:</B><br>Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 11 years of professional experience; or 9 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. <br>Background Check: Must be able to pass a drug criminal and credit background check<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Skills:</B><br>Core Java<br>EJB or JDBC Spring or Hibernate or JPA<br>IDE such as RAD or Eclipse<br>Junit<br>Web services<br>Hbase/NoSQL or similar technology.<br>Pig and/or Hive<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
