We invite applications for a fellowship trained Hematopathologist for our Regional Pathology Lab located in Rockville, MD. In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States we provide high-quality, patient centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support. MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient. What you can expect: - To join an energetic, tenured team of hematopathologists (2 incumbents)
- Support of in-house flow cytometry laboratory and upcoming molecular NGS laboratory
- To work on interesting and varied pathologic diseases referred from 20 hematologists/oncologists, including 2 pediatric oncologists, across Maryland, DC, and Virginia
- A 70% case sign-out of Hematopathology and 30% general Pathology with the Hematopathology cases encompassing lymph node, bone marrow, peripheral blood, and soft tissue.
- To use of state-of-the-art digital pathology platforms for sign-out in a brand-new facility / office
- To work in a team environment with 14 additional Pathologists, all of whom are organ-specific fellowship trained
What we require: - MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
- Fellowship training in Hematopathology
