Position Summary

To provide timely and accurate project planning and financial controls to internal management and external customer in support of OTECH Operations and US Government Contracts.
Most of our projects are one-of-a-kind, which means you will never be stagnant and will always work on something new and compelling. And, by "work," we don't just mean "analyze and design" - most of our engineers do not simply sit behind a desk, but when the design is done choose to "get their hands dirty" assisting with building and testing their creations. Duties & Responsibilities

--- Assist in proposal development to include analysis of the RFP, support proposal manager to generate the work breakdown structure and basis of estimate and coordinate and produce cost volume.
--- Support Project Managers to prepare and analyze internal Revenue forecast for monthly, quarterly, and year end estimates.
--- Provide project controls support to include weekly actual report, hours summary report, estimate to complete (ETC) development, estimate at complete (EAC) development, and variance at completion (VAC) analysis.
--- Support month-end close process, including invoicing, to provide Forecast vs Actual variances and journal entries.
--- Support the Financial Project Manager in developing Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plans.
--- Prepare and support monthly Customer reporting requirements.
--- Support cash flow collections by reviewing Accounts Receivable outstanding and Unbilled Accounts Receivable.
--- Assist the regional finance lead in SOX compliance and testing and external regulatory reporting / compliance.
--- Support implementation of financial standards in the organization.
--- Support User Acceptance Training (UAT) testing, as required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

--- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Management or three plus years equivalent relevant experience.
--- Strong analytical skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
--- Understanding of cost accounting principles; Sarbanes-Oxley Act; and U.S. GAAP.
--- Understanding of financial modeling concepts (what if analysis).
--- Required to be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.

DESIRED

--- Understanding of different contract types; firm fixed price, time and material and cost-plus fixed fee.
--- Earned Value management experience or desire to learn.
--- Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint ERP system.
--- Problem solver who enjoys being part of a team but can also work independently when required.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
