You will partner across Enterprise Services, Divisional CIO, Lines of Business, and Information Security teams to develop and support best-in-class industry risk solutions in a manner that supports innovation and protects our customers, shareholders, and associates. You will collaborate with both 1st and 2nd line teams to develop, monitor, and provide oversight to risk management processes, including reporting compliance results with requirements for the Technology organization. Your contributions will support one of Capital One's key programs to transform our risk ecosystem. Your work will drive insight into risk and control performance, as well as organizational change through risk identification, measurement, analysis, and reporting to enable better management of technology risks in an open and collaborative environment.The Technology Risk ExceptionsOne Program, within ESR Tech Risk, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Technology Risk Manager. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong risk-based thinking, excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), as well as overall data and reporting expertise. This will be a challenging role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments appropriately. -You will be responsible for performing data-driven analysis and reporting that enable governance and oversight for ExceptionsOne (E1) and the Exceptions Programs within the Platform to provide visibility and identify actions that drive risk reduction. You will work with our Product and Tech partners to build out an Exception Analytics capability to include key performance indicators and metrics that enable the tracking, reporting, and aggregated views of risk to better enable decision-making by Accountable Executives and Senior Leadership across the company.Responsibilities: - Provide guidance, expertise, and assist in the coordination of the E1 platform and associated Exception Programs
- Develop and implement reporting to enable enterprise-wide governance and oversight processes for monitoring compliance with the new E1 exceptions management framework and processes
- Provide subject matter expertise for on-going design and process improvements for E1 and Exception Programs within the supporting system(s)
- Partner closely with E1 stakeholders in monitoring and mitigating technology risks
- Develop and publish all recurring E1 updates and reporting for leadership
- Develop E1 Program documentation to include, but not limited to, procedures, job aids, and new exception management framework
- Educate stakeholders and drive the adoption of new processes associated with the E1 Programs -
- Develop Reporting and/or Dashboards for E1 and associated Exception Programs
- Support Tech Risk Exceptions Council activities, as applicableBasic Qualifications: -
- Bachelors Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Data, Information Technology, or Risk Management field
- At least 2 years of experience in presenting to Senior Leaders and executives
- At least 2 years of experience in program development and performing data-driven analysis
- At least 2 years of experience in process or documentation development -
- At least 2 years of governance, risk, and compliance tool experiencePreferred Qualifications: -
