Overview: Department: Oncology/Hematology Shift: Full-Time, Night, 12-Hour Shifts The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in the Oncology/Infusion Center, delivering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology treatments to adult patients with malignancies. The RN educates patients and families, monitors treatment responses, and ensures safe, evidence-based care. Responsibilities: - Administer chemotherapy and oncology treatments safely. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. - Educate patients and families on cancer treatments, side effects, and supportive care. - Monitor patient responses and manage adverse reactions. - Maintain accurate documentation in EHR following oncology standards. - Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams. - Support Cancer Registry Services with accurate treatment data. Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Oncology Nursing Certification preferred. 4.
