*Job Title: *Director of Nursing*Assignment Length: *13 weeks with possible extension*Location: *Bangor, ME*Shift:* Day shift*Pay Rate:* $60/hr. + 1162 weekly stipend***Traveler must reside 50+ miles from facility location****Job Summary:*Under general supervision, plans, organizes staffs, directs and controls nursing services provided within the facility/department so that services are delivered in an efficient, expeditious, courteous and professional manner and in compliance with the Company standards of care and all federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The DON has the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties and assumes the role of administrator in his/her absence.*Requirements:** Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.* Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.* Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients/residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.* Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term.* Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and nonprofessional personnel.* Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.* Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult patients/residents.* Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.* Must be able to relate information concerning a patients/residents condition.* Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace*Qualifications:** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.* Holds current State RN license* Five (5) years in management/leadership position in addition to long term care experience is preferred.* Acute/Rehabilitation experience preferred.* Basic Life Support desired, but not required.* Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required.* Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19*Who We Are?**Since 2001, InfiCare has been providing contract and direct hire staffing services to its clients across the US.
