Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years CVOR RN experience required. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to support a high-acuity cardiac surgical team in Monroe, Louisiana. This 13-week contract assignment involves working in 2 CVOR rooms and 1 hybrid OR, assisting 2 surgeons in delivering exceptional patient care during complex cardiac procedures. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular operating rooms and hybrid OR Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and respond appropriately to changes Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in a fast-paced cardiac surgery setting Qualifications/Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR nurse preferred Current RN license in Louisiana or a compact state BLS and ACLS certification required Proficiency with cardiac surgery procedures and hybrid OR environments Strong ability to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team under high-acuity conditions Schedule: Day shift, 06:30 AM 3:00 PM Location Overview: Monroe, Louisiana offers a welcoming community with a rich cultural heritage and affordable living.
