Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel CCU Registered Nurse to join our team in Jefferson, Louisiana. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced Critical Care Unit. Your expertise will be crucial in managing complex patient situations and delivering compassionate care. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients. Monitor patient health conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Operate life support and other hospital equipment. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients. Administer medications, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure that standards of care are met. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Strong clinical skills in a CCU or ICU setting. Ability to react decisively and effectively in emergency situations. Compassionate patient care with excellent communication skills. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana or a compact state license.
