Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with 2 positions available • Every other weekend requirement • No on-call responsibilities • Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1 • Required to float when needed • Care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and some med surg overflow • Manage cardiac drips (no nitrate administration) • Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA • RN license in state of employment or compact required • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred • One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire • Complete annual competency verification requirements • Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education • Temp to perm opportunity available Facility: This healthcare facility operates a telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care and monitoring.
