Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Travel or Local Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in Hammond, Louisiana. In this role, you will work in a high-tech telemetry unit, applying specialized nursing skills to monitor, assess, and treat patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that emphasizes both patient care and professional growth. Monitor patient's vital signs and operate telemetry devices to track heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and other vitals. Administer medications, document patient's health issues and communicate continuous care plans. Educate patients and their families on the management of their condition. Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver effective patient care. Report noted changes in patient's condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
