MasTec, Inc., a leader in North American infrastructure construction across key industries, is seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. This role provides a crucial link between design and implementation, offering on-site technical guidance and supervision to ensure that all specifications and regulations are met with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a robust set of skills, including project management, technical problem solving, and effective communication. Working closely with project managers and other engineering staff, you will ensure the smooth and safe execution of construction projects, from utilities to oil and gas sectors. Analyze project specifications, construction drawings, and other documents to plan and conduct field installations. Supervise and manage construction staff and subcontractors ensuring compliance with all building codes and safety regulations. Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to ensure resources and materials are timely and within budget. Conduct on-site inspections and problem-solving to mitigate challenges without compromising safety or quality. Prepare and submit field reports documenting the construction process, adherence to design specifications, and any changes made. Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are transparent and met. Strong foundational knowledge in construction engineering and management. Proficiency with CAD software and MS Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
