We are seeking an Assembler for our Mandeville, LA office on the 2nd shift. Second shift is Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm. Core Responsibilities /n - Assembly and disassembly of pumps in shop. /n - Completion of comprehensive inspections of pumps and components. /n - Identification of the cause(s) of mechanical/electrical pump failures & recommend corrective action. /n - Daily maintenance of department equipment and tools. /n - Record and monitor each order's labor and material. /n - Ensure and control safety and quality assurance at all times. /n - Inventory functions, to include stocking, pulling parts, and conducting inventory audits under direction. /n - May be required to assist service mechanics in field repair. /n - Be environmentally conscious of work environment. /n - Adhere to inventory control and other company procedures as applicable. /n - Professional conduct always. /n - Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. /n - Act reasonably to avoid hurting themselves and others. /n - Perform the job in a way that meets all applicable laws, regulations and EHS requirements. /n - Report immediately all hazards / incidents to their direct Manager/Supervisor, or Site EHS Representative (or designee) after realizing a work-related event has occurred. /n - Exercise their freedom and ability to identify areas for improvement and to initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to EHS related issues. /n - Complete all required EHS training courses. /n - Comply with the GCB Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System requirements. /n /n Minimum Requirements/Skills /n - 3 yrs experience fitting piping, running instrument tubing & installing components & vessels on skid-mounted equipment. /n - Read & understand P&ID, general arrangement and isometric drawings /n - Prior experience fabricating & installing piping and support structures. /n - Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install various metal & plastic pipes, valves & fittings. /n - High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. /n More...
