Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures /n• Call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend /n• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning /n• Must respond to call within 30 minutes of notification /n• May float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed /n• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts /n• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day /n• 24 hours of orientation provided /n• 2 years of experience in specialty required /n• Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be accepted /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License /n• Must maintain distance requirement of 65 miles from facility to home address /n• Epic charting system experience preferred /n• Must be available for emergency team assignments during facility emergencies /n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations /n• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including cardiac catheterizations, angiography, embolization, stent placements, and various specialized radiological procedures /n• Experience required with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, sterile technique, and vascular closure systems /n/n Facility: /n This major medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with advanced interventional radiology and cardiology departments.
