This job safely prepares for and scrubs into interventional procedures in collaboration with interventional radiologists and nursing. Holds advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and provides care in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and protocols.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EducationRequired - Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.Work ExperienceRequired - None.Preferred - Interventional radiology experience.CertificationsRequired - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license requiredCurrent unrestricted license in the state of practiceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart AssociationPreferred - Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional RadiologyKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) - Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
