This job works to support the Tobacco Cessation Clinics across the company system with minimal supervision, providing all duties related to scheduling appointments, registering patients with correct patient accounts for the Tobacco trust and communicating with patients referred to the Cessation Clinics To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Required -High School diploma or equivalent Work Experience Required -3 yearsRelevant experience (customer service, patient registration, appointment scheduling). Preferred - Knowledge of Epic system (registration and scheduling). Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) - Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval ofrequired jobinformation.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications,keyboard, and various software packages specific to role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively and courteously communicate with a diverse group of internal and external calls.
- Good judgment skills to handle difficult situations.
- Good organization and time mangement skills.
