Responsibilities:
- Mid level technician.
- Performs assignments of a general nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
- Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs
- Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation
- Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation
- Good electrical/instrument troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of PLC's
- Properly use high voltage test equipment
- Re-fuse high voltage lines
- Remove and repair switchgear
- Properly size and install wire and conduit
- Troubleshooting electrical/instrument issues
- Working knowledge of process control fundamentals
- Know PID tuning fundamentals
- Working knowledge of DCS systems
- Working knowledge of motors and motor controls
- Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures, and photo cells
- Active participant in implementing and sustaining the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including a focus on standardized work, rapid problem solving, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
- Accountable for performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and in accordance with established procedures as required due to being a Responsible Care facility - -This is currently a day shift (Mon-Friday) opportunity, however, this may require shift work. -YOU MUST HAVE:
- 2 year technical degree in instrumentation and/or electrical or classified as a apprentice electrician
