Responsibilities:
Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce high-quality products that meet company, certification, and regulatory requirements Provide workflow direction for all seafood processors while communicating performance expectations in collaboration with the production supervisor Translate both verbal and written documents between English and Vietnamese languages Coach and develop team members on productivity, quality, equipment operations, and safety procedures in collaboration with the production supervisor Directly perform a variety of day-to-day seafood processing procedures on production lines Inspect products throughout processing to identify defects and drive achievement of established quality guidelines Promote an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement Assist in training team members Perform other job-related duties as requested
Requirements:
2+ years' experience working in a production environmentExperience working in a food processing environmentDemonstrated knowledge of seafood processing plant operationsFluently bilingual in English & VietnameseAbility to exhibit teamwork and self-management practicesExperience with scheduling work and leading/coordinating employee tasksStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and time management skillsExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as requiredAbility to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds More...
