Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Villa Hills, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,675 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and required liability insurance Description: Home visits are required as part of this position. Periodic office meetings will occur regularly. The contractor must have reliable transportation and possess a current driver's license along with agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients seen per day is 5 to 6. The contractor will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day, which equates to roughly 6 to 8 points. If the contractor is unable to meet financial needs due to low patient census, they should discuss potential floating to a nearby clinic to pick up hours with the manager. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups. Weekend requirements may vary per location and profession and should be discussed during the interview. On-call requirements also vary by job location and should be confirmed during the interview. Contractors must be willing to travel up to 75 miles. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The contractor is compensated for travel between patient homes only. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Pending licenses are not accepted; candidates must have a license in hand unless the license will take a few days to obtain. All candidates must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and have used it within the last 6 months. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient appointments. Delayed or incomplete documentation that impacts billing and patient care may result in a cancellation. There are no guaranteed hours; contractors must meet weekly productivity expectations. All overtime must be pre-approved. If there are not enough patients each week to support financial needs, there is an opportunity to float to another clinic for additional patients.
