Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior Cybersecurity Manager / Product & Solutions Security Officer (PSSO) to join our team. The PSSO will play a crucial role in actively driving product and solution security. They will provide expert advice to executive management, product management, project management, R&D heads, and manufacturing heads on security matters related to all Siemens products, solutions, and services. The PSSO will collaborate with the Head of the Business Unit and the Principal PSSO to develop and implement effective security processes and structures. This role will be responsible for driving the security strategy in alignment with the Company Security Strategy. The PSSO will report to the Principal PSSO and the Head of the Business Unit. What your day-to-day will look like: - Provide expert advice on security matters to various stakeholders within the organization.
- Collaborate with executive management and key stakeholders to develop and implement security processes and structures.
- Drive the security strategy in alignment with the Company Security Strategy
- Advise on compliance with domain-specific standards and regulations.
- Handle incidents and vulnerabilities effectively.
- Develop business acumen and drive innovation and change.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their security needs.
- Implement and promote security activities and best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
- Stay updated with IT security technologies and domain-specific products or software platforms.
- Conduct quality audits and assessments related to product and solution security.
- Provide expert coaching to team members on security-related matters.
- Demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills.
- Manage conflicts and make informed decisions.
- Build networks and partnerships to enhance security initiatives.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
To thrive in this role, you have: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity roles, such as security analyst, security engineer, or security consultant. This should also be complimented with some combination of technical expertise.
- Proven experience in cyber security or a related role
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and IT security technologies
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management processes (PLM)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead without authority and manage conflicts effectively.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change.
- Exceptional business knowledge and customer understanding
- Leadership and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity solutions.
