Cities and Railroads rely on us to provide traction-power substations, electricity transmission, and signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems. We are your place to thrive, challenge the status quo, make a difference, and grow in a diverse team of innovators who share your passion for technology - are you in? Our RAMS Managers are passionate about Functional Safety and enjoy working with designers to deliver safe solutions to meet customer needs. We incorporate RAMS management throughout the entire product development lifecycle - from a use case definition, RAMS planning over requirement clarification, design, software development, hardware development, test, validation, field test, pilot projects, product qualification, and safety case to independent safety evaluations. You'll make a difference by: - Establishing system requirements concerning reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety using customer requirements and FRA guidelines.
- Preparing and implementing project safety plans in line with our standards and practices. Also, ensure that vital documents (hazard analyses, fault tree analyses, safety cases, etc.) are available for approval.
- Acting as the intermediary between the project and approval authority; support project execution by coordinating requirements with the Project Manager, Systems Engineers, Independent Safety Assessors, Suppliers, and Customers
- Performing RAM and Safety Analyses, FMEA, and FTA to identify system and operation faults.
- Ensuring process consistency throughout the SDLC within the scope of responsibility.
- Independently leading the system safety and reliability elements of sophisticated technical projects.
