This role will be preparation for a Supervisor role in future.--3rd Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 10PM- 6:30AM with flexibility to work 1 weekend a month--What You'll Do as a Production Coordinator:Direct activities of team, communicate daily production schedule and expectations.Monitor the process in relation to product standards and efficiencies, assign duties, ensure line rotation where applicable.Train new hires, retrain and onboard new team membersAssist and have working knowledge of all areas of process.Set up line for specific product run, including required packaging, labels, toppings, fillings andall other required items pertinent to specific line requirements and product specifications.Completion of paperwork, effective operation of hand-held scanner to record finished product.Effectively communicate with supervisor and team.Support and instruct team members in production line practices, procedures, and duties.Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices food safety procedures, plant policies and procedures.Demonstrate and apply safe work practice.Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion regarding all communication (spoken, written or otherwise) with all members of Dawn management.Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn.--What Does It Take to be a Production Coordinator at Dawn Foods?Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.High School Diploma or GED PreferredExperience working in a manufacturing or similar environment preferredLead experience (preferred) Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employeesBasic math skillsBasic computer skillsAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentVerbal and written communicationApply basic reasoning and problem solving--Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
