    • Research and identify potential vendors for equipment, tools, and machinery.
    • Establish positive relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiate terms, secure cost-effective agreements, and ensure reliable and timely deliveries.
    • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand upcoming project requirements and timelines and develop procurement plans that align with project schedules to ensure timely equipment availability.
    • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement and asset management functions.
    • Coordinate the ordering process, ensuring accurate specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines are communicated to stakeholders.
    • Implement systems to track usage, condition, and scheduled maintenance of assets,
    • Track and manage purchase orders, keep stakeholders informed about the status of equipment orders, and maintain detailed records of all equipment purchases, including invoices, receipts, and warranty information.
    • Conduct inspections upon delivery to ensure that purchased equipment meets the required specifications and quality standards, and address any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or other concerns promptly.
    • Generate regular reports on procurement activities. YOU LEARN, YOU GROW

      YOU SHOULD HAVE
      • Bachelor's degree and two years of purchasing experience or five years of experience without a degree
      • Basic understanding of ERP systems
      • Microsoft Office Suite of Products with an emphasis on Excel WE HOPE YOU HAVE
        • Experience working with software like Spectrum, Geotab and Fleet Focus.
