The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.About the Role:This position is a night shift 12-hr position working 7pm - 7am. --This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning/sanitation duties and responsibilities in the plant. ----Main Responsibilities:Performs cleaning and sanitation activities as determined by the Master Sanitation ScheduleResponsible to keep accurate written records and complete reportsWorks at heights to plant ceiling and exterior silosWorks within enclosed and/or confined spaces, must be able to obtain a Confined Space Authorized CertificationWorks in temperature extremes, indoors and outdoors.Operates several types of powered industrial--equipment.Performs tasks as determined by the rodent and insect control schedules.Performs sanitation audits or inspections as assignedResponsible to disassemble and reassemble equipment for required--cleanings.Completes tasks assigned as--needed.Who we are looking for:The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years' experience working in sanitation in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. --Someone with the ability to accomplish most tasks with minimal supervision, that is self-directed and has proven leadership skills with working with employees and contractors.-- A strong attention to detail and a safety mindset is critical in this role. Minimum--Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.Basic knowledge of computers Experience with--SAPEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to obtain forklift--certification.How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
