Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Ashland, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Clinical Laboratory Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Several years of experience as a permanent employee and as a traveler. License: American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification required. Certifications: AHA BLS required. Must-Have: - Experience with the Dimension Chemistry Analyzer. - Ability to perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection from patients. - Highly skilled in phlebotomy. - Comfortable working alone. - Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, preferably Cerner. Description: MT/MLT requires ASCP or AMT certification. Looking for an MT or MLT with certification. Shifts are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. On-call responsibilities: 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month. Candidates must have experience performing blood draws. Blood bank or microbiology skills are not required for this position.
