Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years required License: State License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate FHM, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Must have Meditech experience, no exceptions. Description: The position involves assisting with various labor and delivery tasks. A high level of competency in sterile speculum exams, non-stress tests, and sterile vaginal exams is required. Candidates should be familiar with internal and external fetal monitoring, IVs, medication administration, and labor and delivery management. Experience with high-risk deliveries, neonatal care, and postpartum care is essential. The role includes working in antepartum, labor and delivery, and mother-baby care settings. Every other weekend shift is required. The candidate will be responsible for the care and management of newborns, including high-risk cases. This position may involve participation in emergency response scenarios and rapid response teams.
