Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: RN-Labor and Delivery Location: 2420 G St Belleville, KS 66935 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Duration: 13 weeks Description: 5% L&D – 95% Med Surg The nurse will need to be able to manage a L&D patient/Ob surgeries. The majority of patient care will be M/S. The nurse will need to be able to handle a labor patient through delivery and postpartum. My other staff can assist in the delivery room, but the travel nurse will be the primary to manage an L&D patient. The L&D experience is mandatory. I need a nurse that can manage a delivery from start to finish. We do labor inductions and have pregnant patients present at any time. They will be the primary nurse for a L&D patient, with a floor nurse as back up. They will mainly be taking care of med/surg patients. We are Critical Access so we care for all ages, and diagnoses. To include, telemetry patients, general surgery and joint replacements. *Nurse needs to be able to manage an L&D patient independently, including OB surgery. They would be the primary nurse/responsible for L&D. Another nurse who is not OB trained will be assisting at time of delivery.
