Join the Global Medical Response (GMR) team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining the airworthiness of our fleet. At GMR, we prioritize rapid emergency response and quality patient care, and our aviation maintenance team is key to our operational success. In this role, you will work on specialized medical transport aircraft, ensuring they are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on aircraft, including engines, landing gear, and hydraulic systems. Inspect aircraft according to regulatory standards and company procedures. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical aircraft system problems. Record all maintenance work in compliance with company policies and FAA regulations. Collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure minimal disruption to service schedules. Manage inventory of parts and tools to maintain supply levels required for timely maintenance and repairs. Continuously update skills and knowledge in new technologies and techniques in aviation maintenance. Deep understanding of aviation mechanical and electronic systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to aircraft maintenance. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency situations. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
