As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in implementing treatment plans designed by our Occupational Therapists. You will work closely with patients who are recovering from physical or mental health issues, assisting them in developing the skills needed for daily living and working environments. Implement therapeutic plans designed by Occupational Therapists to improve patients' functional abilities. Assist patients in exercises and activities, guiding them to ensure correct technique and maximum benefit. Document patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising therapist. Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, ensuring equipment and materials are available and in good condition. Educate patients and families about home programs and discharge planning.
