Encompass Health Kansas Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team of professionals in providing customized and patient-focused rehabilitation services. The successful candidate will design and administer therapy programs to assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working, in alignment with their individual health conditions. Evaluate patient conditions to develop appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to facilitate the recovery of motor functions and coping with physical limitations. Assess and record patient activities and progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on strategies and therapeutic techniques relevant to their health and recovery. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain patient confidence and protect organization operations by keeping information confidential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of therapeutic techniques and principles. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle emotionally charged situations.
